Smokie Mountain Steak House & Lounge

I am a long time customer of Smokie Mt Steak house and know Gary and Pam Keenan well. I am appalled at what seems to be false claims regarding this restaurant. Gary has been a business owner on the Ridge for many many years. His food, service, cleanliness and caring demeanor is second to none. Gary takes a personal interest in all of his customers and their positive experience in his establishment. The restaurant itself is elegant and holds much ambiance. Hands down the friendliest service with a staff that truly cares about the customer. Pull up of a chair, be greeted with a smile and meet the owner of the best restaurant on the Ridge. PS I highly recommend the Prime Rib!!

I travel from Idaho to Paradise every other month and my favorite spot is Smokie Mountain Steakhouse. Of course I know the Owner Gary and I'm treated very well. I know the beef Gary serves and there is none better!!!!!!!!!! Angus aged to perfection.flavor and tender the Prime Rib is my favorite. or the Rib Eye.

Since Gary has taken back the restaurant the food is out of this world. The Prime rib is the best I have ever had!!! The wait staff is excellent.

Smokie Mountain has been here for 28yrs serving excellent food.established 1983 by Gary Keenan chef and owner.Other than a two year time when the restaurant was sold to people who couldn't run it right Aug06 to Aug08,Gary came back and put it back on track.

I would have rated this restaurant zero stars, but that wasn't an option! The food, the service, atmosphere were all bad. We used to eat here quite a bit, but the last 2 years have just been going down hill. Nothing tastes like it used to. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone - and we won't be returning.

We have been to Smokie Mountain Steak House a handful of times and out of the times we have been there, we have had to send our food back. We went their tonight - brought my husband's mother there from out of town and our steaks tasted like fish. It was like the chef cooked the steak on the same grill or spot as the fish. It was terrible. Also, the clam chowder was luke warm and instead of having clams in it, it was full of celery. It was very disappointing.

Was very disappointed. WAY over priced for just ok food. Will not go back again. Bad atmosphere & service. My husband called it "The Smokie Mountain rip-off!"

SMOKIE MOUNTAIN STEAK HOUSE HAS THE BEST OF THE BEST PRIME RIB STEAKS...ALWAYS JUICEY AND TENDER. IT JUST MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH....YUMMY!...MY MOUTH IS WATERING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!....GUESS WHERE WE ARE GOING TO DINNER TONIGHT!...YES, YOU GUESSED IT....SMOKIE MOUNTAIN!!!!!

On Oct 30 2009 my wife daughter and myself had dinner I ordered the small prime rib it was cold and onehalf fat plus other. I made some noise to that fact and was ignored,
