Starberry Peach Farm

The peaches were damaged with this season's hail, I realize but besides that they were just not good peaches anyway... I've canned peaches in the past and these were by far the hardest peaches to can, then wouldn't split and although we carefully picked them I still ended up throwing out over 1/3 due to huge bruises and rotting. Farmer Bob I believe, was a very kind gentleman, he stopped his mower and talked to us a bit about what the hail did to the peaches and how to pick the best ones. There was a woman working the stand however and she should not have been doing so... first we called, and we got an attitude from her over the phone. Then we got that same attitude in person when we went to pay for our peaches... Seriously - customer service people! We did nothing to deserve how she acted toward us! I don't suggest going here unless you want to put up with that lady!
