Starwood Pet Resort

When an elderly neighbor died about a year ago she left behind a toy poodle. It had been quite some time since Pige had any grooming. The good people at Starwood were wonderful. They were kind and patient. You could see they really care. She had some mats so it took a long time. They did a wonderful job. Pige was just beautiful. Now she looks forward to going the groomer. B They were so good with her I started to leave her with Starwood when I travel. It gives me peace of mind to know she is in such caring hands. I whole heartedly recommend Starwood to all my friends.

Starwood was highly recommended by my Vet. I recently boarded and had my dog groomed at Starwood Pet Resort. I was very pleased by the service and skill level of fhe staff. Everyone at Starwood listened to my concerns and instructions... I am very high maintenance... and they made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend.

Recently my 7 month old Lab "acted out". Tom, the owner of Starwood, spoke to me for an hour on the phone though the kennel was actually closed. He gave me some pointers for dealing with bad dog behavior. I am optimistic that with his help and that of his staff, Hannah and I will have a great life together. This kind of caring for the animals while at his facility and while she is with me, goes along way! Keep up the good work! Thanks!

First, I would like for you to kniow that we have six dogs...four Basset Hounds and two Cairn Terriers. My husband and I used Starwood with the previous ownwers and had a horrible experience! But ever since Tom and Camille have owned it we could not be happier ! Our dogs cannot wait to get there and are completely tuckered out when we pick them up from day care. The employees are kind and very courteous, as well as being well informed about each and every animal. They are so good to call if anything happens with your pet and keeps us well-informed each day about each of our six. In addition the owners qualifications are beyond reproach.....it is amazing all that Tom has done with animals in his career! I would not hesitate to reccommend this establishment to my friends and family.

I now drive 60 minutes one way just because of my 4 Afghan Hound's response when we pull up in the driveway. They are always happy to see the kennel personell, and vise-versa....and that tells me they treat my dogs well. Anyone can be nice to the owner, but the dogs tell all in the end!

Starwood is a very clean facility with lots of room for the animals. The staff is well trained and very enthusiastic. It's great to see when I arrive with my dog that they know him and are excited to see him again! They truely care about what they do and the pets in their care. Tom used to train police dogs. He is is an expert trainer and very patient with both the dogs and the owners. After trying several other kennels, I'm extremely happy to have found Starwood! I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Like most businesses this "pet resort" started off with a bang. I sadly hate to report that it has gotten to bg for its britches. Tom may be okay, but his wife is out for one thing and one thing only...............MONEY. She will be the ruination of this kennel if she continues to wear the pants in this family. I must withdrawal my reccommendation to send your animal here...........deaking with the wife is not worth the pain in the butt that you feel.

As a long time day care client, I can attest to the day to day professionalism of the owners and the staff, as well as the loving care provided to the dogs. They treat the pets as if they were their own. A phone call to raise a concern about one of the dogs, the lap service to an older dog recovering from a recent surgery, the Christmas treats for each regular - just a few of the individual touches by these business owners who care. I give them the highest praise..

Tom and Camilla are clearly dog lovers who don't limit their affection to their own dogs. Starwoods has been a terrfic experience for us and our dog. The entire stafff has always gone above and beyond to be sure our pet was comfortable and well taken care of. I recommend Starwood without qualification.
