Lisa I am with you I completely understand I recently applied for TANF I have no money to feed my kids and the food banks they refer me to gave me nothing to junk food ( candies ) how am I suppose to feed my kids like this I have not been denied yet however they told me they will not expedite my help they immediatlely help those abusing the system that are capable of working but fail those who are in real need looking for a little assistance temporary not a lifetime what is sad is that I am a veteran i have put my life on the line twice in Iraq fighting for their freedom and paid my taxes for looks like I am the one being taken advantage of by the system i'm so sorry they have to treat us like this I really understand where you are coming from

I have applied for TANF because I didn't have a job. I have no one to take care of my kids while I go to those workfoce classes. I recently got a job. a now I am paying rent and child care of 190 a week. and I was denied because I make to much money. I have 300 light bill that is about to get cut off and I need some one to watch my kids while I work. I can't buy them clothes or shoes that they needbecause everything goes to bills but I cant even make bills meet. I recieve no child support. dont understand y I was denied when I barely make enough for all three of us.
