My family drove almost an hour to eat at the Swamp Guinea and WE were not impressed! The place stinks as you're walking in the door. (That should tell you to get back in your car) We had a party of 6 and no one liked their food. I would recommend stopping up the road at Dockside! By Anonymous on August 22, 2010 at 07:15 AM
Since I am not a local I only get achance to eat here three or four times a year. I plan my lake trips around the days The Swamp Guinea is open. Don't miss it. By Earl Hunsucker on June 25, 2010 at 03:09 PM
Hello, my name is Seth, and I love eating. I have made my goal of an XXL, and I've yet to stop. I love to eat the Catfish, no matter how it's cooked. I'll eat it fried, deep fried, greasy, I LOVE GREASE. I'm fat, and I am proud to say it. I want to put the boiled shrimp in my belly button, and lick it out. mmmmm. I'll never get a girlfriend, because no one will want to love a man my size. By Seth Johnson on August 03, 2009 at 05:40 AM
My wife and I order the Shrimp Sampler once a week, the two of us can not eat all the food we get in one sitting, EVEN THOUGH I TRY....LOL This is a great place to eat for a great price and it is very family friendly! By kevin rowland on July 30, 2009 at 12:59 PM
First of all the atmosphere is equivalent to a high school cafeteria. Second, the food is absolutely revolting. I ordered fish and it looked at if it had been dropped in a vat of putrid oil while still alive. If I could I would not even give this restaurant one star. Do not eat here!!! You and your stomach will be sorry. By Sara on July 23, 2009 at 07:12 PM

We have been going to Swamp Guinea since I was just a little girl with my Papa Murphy. This was his most favorite place to eat family style all you can eat. We have such great memories of all our family with Papa here for many years and still go enjoy eating here with our family even though Papa has gone to join Jesus in heaven. We miss you Papa! Thanks Swamp Guinea for so many good memories! Sheri, Sarah and Brad Stanley (Marcus) By Sheri Stanley on December 26, 2008 at 09:32 AM
