a must stop for any true texas
it is a no brainer. your first stop ever in san antonio has to be the alamo. there is so much history and significance there that you have to visit it at least once in life. you cant help but to be in awe in a place like that.\t\n\t\ndo not expect to park in a blocks' d...istance from the alamo. parking can be a hassle in downtown in general since the streets are so narrow. so be prepared to park and walk. \t\n\t\nand also visit the vistor's center right across the street from the alamo. they have valuable coupons and maps and great information that will help you get around town.
A site everyone should see at least once
I have made the trip many times, learning more each time. I just returned from taking my two boys for there first time to see one of the birthplaces of texas freedom. I highly recommend a trip to The Alamo, were some amazing bravery took place on both sides of those w...alls.
