The Blue Moon is a little treasure of a restaurant tucked away in Dawson (a very short drive from Springfield) that merits a visit from anyone looking for superior service, a pleasant dining room, and truly good food presented in an attractive way. We already have plans to return with friends this weekend after dining there last night. The menu has sometraditional regional items and some unusual ones as well. The Blue Moon can hold its own against the pretentious restaurants in large cities. It is definitely worth the short drive to enjoy such an excellent dining experience!

Good place to eat but we didn't like the door opening directly into the dining room. Just using the bar door would be better!
