We carry all organic coffee, espresso and tea. Also fresh fruit smoothies, pastries, and bagels. Our mocha's are world famous. We have inner tube rentals available spring and summer.
Great place! We were tired and hungry and the proprietor opened early and made us homemade sandwiches from the nearby grocery store since he knows the owner. Went the distance to make our kids happy and to see that we were well fed. Thanks, Jess, hope to visit you again soon! By M. McCaskill on September 13, 2009 at 05:04 PM
Enjoyed stopping for a well-needed rest at this lovely coffee shop where all the locals hang out. Best Coffee Mocha I have ever had. The owner, Jessie, is a lot of fun, engaging, and can talk about any subject! He had us in stitches the whole time. He has a tongue in cheek sense of humor. We found him polite, friendly and knowledgeable about a lot of local tourist attractions. As about tubing on the nearby river! By Sally Cone on September 13, 2009 at 04:57 PM
We travelled to California from Florida for almost 2 weeks and ran across some of the most friendly and warm people possible with the exception of the owner of The Daily Grind. Upon entering the store, we were appauled by his lack of interest in customer service when asked the simple qustion of "do you have decaf coffee?" His response was, "no we don't...its not real coffee"--never once lifting his stare from the computer he appeared fixated upon. His sense of humor is not "quirky", "unique" or "dry". It is non existent at best. His rudeness towards this coffee lover with a medical condition that prevents the consumption of caffeine left a bad taste in my mouth and made this the only bump in the road. A must stop! One of a kind! Amazing coffee and a store with attitude! The owner has a different type of humor, but nothing to be concerned about if you have a sense of humor and can deal his BS back to him! Think Ed Debeviks style if you're from chicago.
