The Market Place At Roxbury

Just had 3 of their specialty burgers, 2 cheesy rat and 1 Vidalia onion, Not cheap! The outer edges where hard and crusty, Obviously old and not fresh. Why would you sell these? Cut off that part and tried to grill them, threw them out!!! HORRIBLE!! We have had other meat from them not so good! NEVER AGAIN!! Very expensive!! NASTY MEAT AND NASTY BUTCHER! Prices are ridiculous!!! Only went there because it's Sunday and Chester Meat Market was closed!! GO TO LOU AT CHESTER MEATS!!!! THE BEST. Been going there since 1992!! They know all my kids!! Fair prices, friendly!!!

The staff of the market place have always been professional. The meat is outstanding, the "rat burgers" rock, the NY strip steaks are fabulous. I have never gotten anything tough or bad. The stuffed chicken breasts are phenomenal. Bon Apetit!

Way too expensive for what you get. Stuff on shelves is old- be careful of the dust, meat is tough (@$20.00 per steak) and the owner is a fat jerk. Go to Chester Meat or the Shop Rite Liquor- better food and better prices- also nicer people with some integrity!
