We found this by accident on vacation. What a find! My friend has "little square feet." I need strong arch support. This was heaven for us! We left with six pairs of shoes. They have many fine brands you don't see much elsewhere, exceptional sizes, and great service folks (who don't work on commission) running back and forth to get you what you need. The regular discount is equivalent to what you might see at other discount shoe stores carrying upper-level shoes but the selection is like none I've seen! The sale room had some terrific bargains. The Shoe Box is truly shoe heaven!
They have amazing finds in the bargain room if you are willing to
dig around for a while.
I always walk out of there with atlest 4 pairs of shoe or boots.
I just spent more time bargain hunting, it is worth it.
The Shoe Box makes me smile, Priceless! By Felice Debra Eliscu on October 04, 2007 at 02:15 AM
The Shoe Box is the only place my whole family buys their shoes. We live in Illinois and visit at least twice a year. Not only do they have the best selection but the service is friendly and quick even tho they are always busy. Prices are a bit lower than other places too. And if you have a problem with a pair of shoes you bought you can return them without a hassle. By Jane Kerley on September 23, 2007 at 06:29 PM
I have never been to a store that has a variety of shoes and purses as this store does. Well maybe Nordstrom's in Chicago, but this is in our area and sooo much more friendly. They are always very quick, polite and knowledgeable!!! I have boughten shoes, purses, Crocs, T-shirts.....We had our kids from California come in and they purchased over $600.00 worth of shoes. It is a stop for them each time they are in from the west coast. I am a loyal, loyal customer. If you are in there around lunch or dinner time and you are a sport nut, you have to go to Rookies Sports Bar, just up HWY 14 from the Shoebox. Its owned by the same person and they have memorabilila all over the walls ceilings and even a regulation wiffle ball field everyone can play on. We just had our 4 yr old grandson out there anf he had a ball! A must see stop for the whole family!!! By Karen M. on July 03, 2007 at 07:46 AM
The service is great, even though they seem very busy and crowded. They almost always have what I wanted at a lower price than in Madison. Huge selection and good bargains, too. By T Burkholder on February 12, 2007 at 05:59 AM
