The Shore Club - to avoid

3

We stayed at The Shore Club last weekend. This is the place to stay if you have no interest in sleeping. The floors are aggregate concrete "tile" (as are the hallways), so voices / high heel steps from the hallways are no different than if they were standing in your room. The very busy nightclub/outdoor patio areas go at full volume until..... I think it was 5am. Much to our chagrin, our 1pm complaint call to the front desk proved fruitless. Did I mention we were wearing construction grade earplugs? If you want to party, stay here. We regret not staying at The National, just a few hotels away.
