What wonderful people work in the Sweater Shoppe. They really went out of their way to help me find a beautiful Red and Black Charlie Scarf to wear at my Granddaughter's Wedding the end of October. Having sold the last one in the store, the lovely Saleslady offered to call the Creative Artist that makes the scarves to see if she might have another Red and Black Charlie Scarf. Lo and behold...she DID have another she had just finished and since my time was tight and I was leaving early the next day....the Saleslady had the Creater, Merrily Burger, a lovely Lady who lives very close by, bring the scarf to the store. So I was in seventh heaven....Not only did I get the most beautiful scarf, I got to meet the special Lady that created it. I thank you, thank you for going out of your way to help this Grandmother look lovely for her Granddaughter's Wedding. Thank you everyone at the Sweater Shoppe. Bless you All. After reading the poor review by Disappointed, I had to write that I was totally delighted with the shop. I bought a watch and am very happy with the item and the price I paid. It and so manyof the items in the store were very unique and wonderful. I expect to pay more at a boutique shop such as this one and I did not think the prices were out of line at all. Plus, the shop personnel were very friendly and warm and accomodating. I wish I had more time to spend there and I would definitely shop there again when I am in the area. We were in the shop with our family and bought all the girls (7) jade bracelets, which were unique and fun and a nice memento of our trip. The next day we saw the exact bracelets in Lincoln City for $13. each which made us unhappy as we paid $29 each. We assume the Lincoln City store was making some profit and we also assume we were being gouged at Salishan Market place. We know things are slow but that doesn't do much for repeat visitors to your shop if the assumption is you will be gouged if you shop there. Too bad. Nice little shop but probably won't do that again. By Sandi Bruni on August 05, 2010 at 12:35 PM
