i have always been frustrated by hair stylists that asked me what i wanted done with my hair, because i never know and i feel like they should know better. at The Workshop i finally got real advice on how to care for my hair (not just back-of-the-shampoo-bottle jargon) and a cut that people keep saying looks, "so beautiful"!!

Because I couldn't find a stylist locally who was able to cut curly hair I traveled to NYC for a curly cut and color. But no more! I finally found a stylist here in my home state -CT-who really knows how to cut curly hair. I got my best curly cut, curly care advice and lively conversation from Dicky and the perfect color for me from Nancy. So, search no more.

I Love my hair for the first time and found out about product and how to use the brush. I havew been using the wrong brush and gel for a long time and did not know. This is the first time a hairdresser really listened to me and cared about what I said. OMG I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE WORKSHOP is by far the best salon you can go to not only for a hair cut, color or other BUT to get educated on how to style your hair at home. This is what makes THE WORKSHOP, Dick,Jessica and his entire staff levels above the rest. If you want TRUE professionals, like the celebrities go to, you MUST go to the WORKSHOP! and learn the secrets of styling YOUR hair professionally!!!!!!!

I have to say this is the best visit I have ever had in a salon in a long time. Not only did I get a great haircut from Nancy but she also waxed my eyebrows and gave me natural, beautiful looking brows. I'll be back again! :)

Dickie's always been good to me, but he cut my roommate's hair a full 6 inches when she asked for a trim! I'm going to Nancy next time.

Well for who ever is reading this you must know that you won't go wrong with Nancy cutting and coloring your hair. My sister and I saw her a couple of weeks ago and we had a great time. Nancy does specialize in curly hair but she's also amazing on straight hair too. My sister has straight hair and I have curly hair. My sister came along just for the ride but after she saw my hair she couldn't help but get a haircut too. She colored my hair as well and now my color is more vibrant and it brings out my eyes. My sister and I had a great time and we are definitely returning soon. Thanks Nancy!

What else can I say. Nancy took it step by step with me. She noticed I was really nervous about cutting my hair. This was the 1st time in 3 years I have gotten a haircut. She explained to me her experiences with her hair and promised me she wouldn't chop my hair off..LOL! She gave my hair a new shape and style without cutting off too much length. She also gave me an amazing color. I went from a mousy blonde color to a warm rich brownish red. I feel and look like a new person. Since then I have gotten many compliments and my husband loves the new me. So if you have soft wavy hair or kinky tight curls you should definitely call and make an appointment with Nancy!

For years I have had many problems with my crazy curls. Hairdresser to hairdresser I have gotten many bad haircuts. Then I found Nancy. She knew exactly what to do to my hair with out me saying much. She gave me a sophisticated yet fun hair cut and showed me a 5 min way to do my hair every morning. She also has spiral curly hair and knows how it is to struggle so long with it. After meeting her I will never go any where else. I finally found someone who actually really knows what to do for my curls. My curls are out the closet!
