Uncle EDS Bbq Grill and Catering

Uncle Ed's is the best place to eat Rib,Service was A plus,We have had nothing but the best food when we have been there.

My wife and I were out shopping and decided to take a detour to Powers Lake to see the lake and surrounding homes. We stopped at Uncle Eds for a drink about four in the afternoon on a Friday. We sat at a table with a view of the Lake and Melissa, the bartender/waitress, came right over, told us what was on tap and gave us a menu. She brought a cold foaming Guinness that was perfect (and a coke for my wife). The place was clean and neat and we decided to stay Irish and split a Reuben on rye with fries. It was perfect and so were the fries and the giant pickle. They buttered the bread and pan fried to corned beef, heated the kraut and put the sauce on the side. I don't know what happened in 2009 that led to bad reviews, but the place is great. We'll be back!!

We had the pleasure of eating one of Uncle Ed's pork BBQ sanwich's at the Walworth Co Fair! 9-7-09! It has to be "THE" best BBQ sandwich I have ever tasted. Yummmmmm! Delicious pulled pork with bbq grill crispness, set on a piece of grilled garlic toast, sweet BBQ sauces poured over the Pork and topped off with another piece of garlic toast! If you haven't tried this sandwich, IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT! I need make another hour trip back up there to get another!

I will NEVER eat at this place again! My fiance and I went there with another couple and we got horrible service. It took forever for a waitress to even come to our table to take a drink order (we ended up going to the bar to order them ourselves). I waited over half an hour just for a bowl of french onion soup. The waitress brought us food that we didnt even order and was insisting that we did. She didn't bring items with my meal that I requested, I had to ask for it two more times. The food was no where near worth the cost. Our friend ordered ribs and they were burnt. The waitress knew that she was giving us crappy service and openly admitted that her service was "screwing with her tip." Since she knew she was getting a crappy tip, she purposely added gratuity to a bill for only 4 people. When my friend brought it up to the manager, the waitresses defense was that we had our 3 month old daughter with us and "kids make a bigger mess then the adults!" I was furious.

The Walley was over cooked. The Lake Perch was over cooked and appeared to be taken from the freezer into the deep fryer.I question if it was Lake Perch since the pieces were perfect triangles. The potatoe pancakes were over cooked.The drinks were good.

Great atmosphere...Great Food! the owners there make you feel like part of the family...I would definitely return...Uncle Eds is the TOPS!
