I called the number listed for West Columbia, SC. I wanted to know if my package was on the truck for delivery for today or if it would get to my home tomorrow. I heard the phone ring busy once, so someone is there on the line. Then when I got thru, the phone kept ringing for 5 minutes..no one I guess felt like picking up. I had the tracking number and I need the info since I still had some christmas shopping to do and wanted the package versus it being left on my porch. I would stay home if I know delivery is today. Now I'm stuck at home waiting for this package that may come at the end of the day or not. I'm going to call UPS at a higher division since I need this info asap.

my home has two porches - an open one on the front of the house and an enclosed one on the back. At least twice, packages have been left outside of my garage. The lastest, yesterday, it rained on the package before I found it on the ground.

We moved into a new neighborhood and ordered some plants online. On the day they arrived, the driver just took them back to the warehouse and claimed the address was incorrect (it wasn't). He didn't even call to make an attempt to find us. The next day I was on the phone all day with the national hotline. First they couldn't find the box, then they called back claiming they found it but needed directions. At the end of the day, we still didn't have our package. The driver noted that the zip code was incorrect and left for the weekend. We were told we couldn't get it until MONDAY!! I had to talk to a manager from the national office and get them to hold it at the customer service counter. Thankfully they were able to stop it before it got stored away for the weekend. We drove to the customer service center (which was less then 10 minutes away) only to find 10-15 people standing around waiting for their lost packages. These people just don't care!

Not only do they not answer the phone, they are not polite if they do. Also, they want you to take the day off of work to be at home when they want you to be hiome. I have never had any of these problems with FedX. Do you think the Company will make it? It would be sad for these employees to be dismissed from the job they obviously love soooo much. Wonder why we have to answer the question on here asking if "we are a person?" I wonder what they are?ight

Why do YOU change an address that I personally gave for delivery?

I have no idea how to make it any easier. Instead of having something delivered to my home, where UPS can never seem to find, I chose to have it delivered to where I work. Instead of using the address I gave, they printed a new label with another address. WHY? Secondly, whatever drivers are using to find these addresses, it certainly is not working. The tracking detail of my order listed customer moved and then today they delivered to other address they changed it too.... Fortunately, I know the person who signed for the package or I would still be looking. This is poor customer service at it's worst. I just don't understand it.
