I had a call at work on my cell phone from this company. They were really nice and seemed legit, and of course I fell for the deal. Then I got a call within two minutes later verifying the information after I had already spoke with the telemarketer and his manager. Then I got home to look up the company and I see all these bad reviews, so immediately I called the credit card company to cancel my card for a new one and reported the scam to them. I then left a message on the toll free number given to cancel. I called today during the business hours and after the second call, someone answered. They were very polite and found my information, the weird thing was that I never mentioned to cancel my subscription. After he pulled my information he immediately said there was a pending transaction and that he would cancel my subscription, without me asking him too. YAY! I hope. Alls I can say is thank goodness for the interenet reviews to warn me. I will never do that again!

After receiving a call to order magazines from your company, we made an agreement that I would be billed $29.30/monthly. Today I checked my account transactions and your company billed me $49.81 after I told you I could not afford that amount (49.81) each month. At this time I am cancelling my order # 258019.

Saturday morning, 3/27/10 at about 11:15 am EST, I was contacted by a telemarker insisting they were from Public Clearing House. She was very nice and polite but when she turned me over to her asshole supervisor, things got ugly. Not only did he lie to me but he cussed me out and then slammed the phone down. Apparently his Mother raised a true asshole with no manners. If he had any balls, I wish he come to my house and say to my face what he said over the phone. I would personally rip his heart out and show it to him while it was still beating. His name was Frank, refused to tell me his last name and he was training the so called new girl named Katie. He needs to get out of sales and go into sewer work. He is better matched for that.

I cannot believe this is still happening! I'm so upset cause it happened to me too except that I got out of it cause when they called, it was actually for someone else and they said i qualified for it, so i gave them my info. i'm so pissed. it was a pain in the assss*s to cancel with them, even called them, but it didn't work. my loop hole was that the magazines didn't come in my name but someone elses and i was paying for them. when i finally did write to the attorney general in MT , the company wrote me an apology letter and returned my money. btw, voice recording does not hold up in court in all states so check that out, that is why they have to send you papers for you to sign. whatever happens, DO NOT SIGN THE PAPERS THEY SEND YOU, IT IS A CONTRACT FOR THEM TO CONTINUE CHARGING YOU. i do have to admit though, lesson learned for me...

The deal was indeed to good to be true. I was caught off guard by the $700+ total. They seemed professional. My first indication that something was up, was the lack of periodic statements. Also, within six months more than half of the titles had sent me renewal notices. The notices came from the magazines themselves, rather than usmag. Furthermore, title changes us mag claimed would be simple were never even possible. And the gifts,... never came...never heard a word. Calls always seem to find a answering machine or somebody unable to help. They typically ask for your account number. This is nearly impossible to find because they extend no correspondence to you once they set the hook. They fooled me once and shame on them. I should have been smarter and more on guard. I hate getting into arguements with assholes trying to shove something down my throat: but when no thanks doesn't mean no to them, it means yes. Avoid usmag. Use direct subscriptions from the mag.

I intend to spread the word on the web. Post your experience in local forums. Contact the Montana government. It is time that these people got their due.

Obviously you do not know about the conditions that anyone can file with the Attorney General. There are regulations in place now. Check the BBB. Also, the 3 day cancellation is bad business practice. Now I am in 700 bucks because some guy told me I would get a free watch and win 100 grand. Ya, I am stupid, but now you have my address and card number and I cannot take that away from you or even defer it over to someone else. Your business sucks.

I got screwed into this whole deal too. I have called almost once a week for 3 months trying to cancel any affiliation I have with the company. Tried talking to a new person each time, and you will not be able to cancel anything until you have payed in full, -the (TOTAL amount upfront, or suck it up and pay the 30$/month for 2 years) and on top of that, it takes 3 months just to get the order settled so if you DO get caught up in it you pay 3 months without effing receiving anything! I am so furious. I want to find a way to run this company to the ground. this is B.S. Maybe if they get enough complaint calls we can shut it down. :)

US Magazine Services is the poorest excuse for a business that I have ever seen. They totally scam people and rip them off. They also treat their employees like dirt and take away commissions when an employees tries to stand up for their own ethics and morals. I can't believe this business is still operating and hasn't been shut down.l How can a business like this legally operate? YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!! YOU ALL ARE CROOKS AND SHOULD BE SENT TO JAIL OR ROT IN HELL!!!!!! One day, you will get what is coming to you and someone will take everything you own and make your life a living hell for what you have done to innocent people. I have seen the script you make your employees use.... SHAME ON YOU.. It is a total lie and YOU WILL BE SHUT DOWN. I have seen your business and it is a SCUM HOLE in the ground. Come on people, lets get this business out of Montana, they don't deserve to be here or anywhere!!!!
