I have searched high and low for a dance studio for my daughter. I was looking for a place with not only professional and skillled teachers but also with compassion and love for their students. Uptown Dance Studio's teachers have everything I can ever ask and more. Ms. Leslea and Ms. Pat are the most professional, caring, and talented teachers I have come across. If you are looking for the best dance studio around then stop your search because you have found it. I highly recommend Uptown Dance Studio because they are simply the best!

What I love about this studio is that the staff is super friendly, hip, and up to date with the latest dance styles, techniques, and music. I am taking a dance workout class......The results so far are an awesome workout and hot moves! Feeling sore from all the fun I'm having in class is great! :) Not only will I look sexy for the summer, but I'm having fun too!

For the past 14 years Uptown Dance has been like a second home. The instructors, Miss Pat and Miss Leslea, are knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. A variety of different dance types are offered and students are encouraged to do their best and try more difficult steps in a positive manner. For me, dancing at Uptown Dance has been a great stress reliever. It allows me to spend time with people whose company I enjoy while doing something we all love. I would recommend this studio to anybody looking to have fun while learning to dance.

I’ve been attending Uptown Dance since I was three years old. The classes are educational and fun! All the teachers there are professional, fun and amazing at what they do. Through my classes at Uptown Dance I have not only gained lessons in different styles of dance, but also self confidence. The classes are fun, challenging and rewarding. Miss. Leslea and Miss. Pat are amazing dancers, teachers and the nicest people you will ever meet. The students and teachers at Uptown Dance are like my second family. I definitely recommend attending Uptown Dance !

Excellent, diverse studio that teaches proper technique & styles- a true jem of a studio in the heart of Belleville! Instructors are friendly, professional and always up to date with new styles and music. Uptown has something for everyone from beginner to professional, and for all age groups.

I HAVE BEEN AT UPTOWN DANCE FOR MANY YEARS AND EVERY YEAR IS BETTER AND BETTER. THE CLASSES ARE ALWAYS FUN BUT VERY HARD WORKING. THE TEACHERS ARE AMAZING AND TEACH US EVERYTHING WE NEED TO KNOW TO MAKE OUT DANCES AND OUR TECHNIGUE PERFECT. I had the pleasure of dancing with one of the owners when we were young girls. Since my dancing days have stopped, I still continued to follow my friend's career and attend the Uptown dance recitals regularly. Leslea Clark is an extraordinary dancer. The talent she possesses is truly a gift that overflows into the Uptown studio classes. I find great pleasure in attending the Uptown performances. Both Pat and Leslea are excellent teachers that thoroughly enjoy interacting with their students. It is a fine studio with a strong following of very hard working dancers.

Uptown is a great dance school. The classes are not only educational... they're also fun! I've been lucky enough to dance with Miss Leslea for the last 7 years, and I've had so many wonderful experiences. I would definitely recommend it!
