After a very negative experience at a timeshare crapshoot at the North Star Lodge in Killington, I stopped to re-energize my Vermont Vibes (also a popular Vermont Blog) at the Hancock Hotel Vermont Home Bakery. I needed to feel some real Vermont in my bones before heading home to Charlotte. The VT Home Bakery was just the thing. The gal at the counter was a peach! We chatted about hummingbird food and feeders and I bought some food, as well as some jam and a honey scooper - to complete my VT country kitchen of my own. Thanks Hancock Hotel and I hope to stay one day in this historic VT establishment - where real folks and honest character live in earnest - the best things about Vermont!

Used to be a nice place, but time and bad management have taking care of that.
