Vermont Pellet Stoves Inc

I 'ordered' 2 tons of pellets and they took a long time to come in, but I couldn't get ANY from anywhere else. These guys were always pleasant and straightforward and apologized each time when I called in. They explained they were having suppliers breaking promises to them and they were stuck. They obviously would want to sell the pellets if they had them. It was a tough winter to get pellets.

After having placed an order over 6 months in advance, I finally canceled the order. We ordered 2 tons of pellets and only received 2 tons of excuses... truck's down, forklift broke, you ordered too late, we had the wrong phone number, we're going to deliver on Saturday - we'll call Friday (never called). The icing on the cake was when they called for payment on pellets that were never delivered. Poor business practice across the board.

If there was an option for zero stars, they would have gotten it. They will promise you everything and deliver on nothing. They have no clue what is going on with any part of their business. I was happy with the product, but dealing with the management and employees was a real drag. They consistantly lied to me on delivery dates, failed to meet commitments, and took advantage of me as a customer who foolishly paid in full when I ordered my stove and pellets. They are dishonest and I would never reccommend this company to anyone. Buy a pellet stove! They are a great way to heat. But buy it from someone who deserves your hard earned money - and these guys DONT!
