OMG! My family has been going to the Shady Oasis since I was like 6 years old. My mom used pack us up and gather friends and family and we'd have a blast! For so many years! I am now 37! and now I go w/ my children and gather my friends and family for this trip! This is a fantastic place! Used to be the KOA! Great clean pool fun, Video Game room, playground w/ sand, bike rides, great walks, volley ball, tether ball! BBQ glory! Tent sites and cabins! We are looking forward to being there this summer!

This Year 2008 will be our familys 5th year to camp here for Thanksgiving.(Still have to make reservations)..LOL Yes we could pick from a # of campgrounds, but with the shady trees, bike rentals, and the conveinience of a mini market,this is the tops. we have always been treated well, and our kids enjoy it. Shady Oasis is located in the middle of everything right off the freeway, Barstow Outlets always have great deals and the Victorville Mall is close also, we use to visit when it was Koa, but like it much better now since it is Good Sam.. I came all the way from Mass. and the campground was easy to get to, clean, and people were very nice. The campground had many activities and thing so do so we were not board. If I was to ever go that way again I would defenitly stop there again !!!!!!! my name is: Mrs. Jones and I give this campground 5 stars
