Great New Owner

Wellivers was always a great place to dine. Since new owner took over he has made this a five star restaurant, second to none anywhere.

Wellivers a big hit

5

We really enjoyed our latest trip to Wellivers. The food was fresh, hot and fantastic. The staff was cheerful and went to great lengths to make our dinning experience enjoyable. We will be back.

You people are nuts

5

If you really ARE more than just one person. I eat at 50 different restaurants a year. Despite the fact that Wellivers is a 75 minute drive, it's still worth the trip and is ALWAYS one of the 10 best meals we have in a year's time. We went last night. The food was terrific and the service impeccable. We've been eating at Wellivers for 10 years and I see NO decrease in quality of food or service.

Never Again

5

I ate there this last weekend and the food and sevice was worse than ever. Its time for the owners to stop kidding themself. they have no idea what they are doing... Guy welliver knew what customer service was and how to treat people. The owners have no idea. I remember as a kid the help always had a smile on there face you could tell they enjoyed there job. They say the people who work for you are the face of the business well this business needs to close its door.

restaurant sucks

i used to go to wellivers for 50 years but will never again the food is not as good or they run out of food.the owners are very rude they are nothing like their father or grandfather he was a nice guy.he probably wouldnt have let his daughters take over if he knew they were to take it where it is today.i can see the next i visit that it will probably be closed down.

were you paying any attention!

5

Apparently you weren't paying attention to Guy when he would yell at the top of his lungs at his help. or his daughters working for him, in front of customers and God, Himself! You were never a customer who was told they were taking too long and needed to get up so he could seat another group! Or told you, you took too much shrimp and needed to put some of it back! Was it just accepted back then, and now it's looked down apon if a restaurant owner has to repremand an employee?Granted, it should be down behind closed doors, but, if you've been there, there aren't a lot of closed doors!

its over

1

I give it a one star because it can go no lower. If i was a customer i would request to look at the kichen and the people preparing my food. Those people who do that would never return. Guy based the place on pride the current owners base it on greed. They are rude to there employees and to the customers who come there. It use to be a place of pride for this town but that time has passed. we remember a wellivers that was a special place now it is just a place and soon it will be no more.

it was a joy mmeting guys grandaughter liberty - we visited the bar several weeks ago and she was the new bartender. I have since heard her father passed - we are so sorry - i hope if you are reading this you might remember us - Jim and Diana from Indianapolis - so so sorry liberty bell...our deepest sympathy as we heard you were very very close to your dad. I hope that wellivers continues to thrive and do well in this economy and you can continue to carry on the business that your grandfather built and your father ran until his illness.
