Wigs for Cancer Patients NYC

Andew DiSimone Wigs is rated number one to me and my family. My very special aunt who has a very rare disorder was beginning to lose her hair due to chemo medication. I contacted Andrew for a wig for my aunt. Within hours I received an email back saying Yes he would giver he a wig. It was one of the happiest days we had had in a long time. As she has a long road of recovery ahead of her at least she can feel somewhat normal when she puts on the Andrew DiSimone wig. All I can say is thank you, thank you, so much what you have done. The wig looks absolutely beautiful and I can't wait until she gets it. You are amazing and such a blessing to our family. Forever Grateful, Christina

Recently Andrew fitted me for a wig at the American Cancer Society in NYC. Hair loss hasn't been the aspect of cancer treatment I've worried about the most, but I did feel uneasy presenting myself to a stylist. Glad to report that Andrew was caring, attentive, brisk, and cheerful without overdoing it--and obviously happy to have this opportunity to share his skills and compassion. He did an absolutely awesome job trimming my (remaining) hair, helping me select the wig, and styling it. Andrew and ACS also had all I needed on how to wear and care for the wig--which will be much less trouble than I expected. Thanks very much to Andrew and ACS NYC for this great service. It's a real mitzvah for those of us whose insurance, mysteriously and insensitively, does not cover purchasing a wig during cancer treatment.

Thank you to Andrew and his staff I recently met Andrew after losing my hair to chemotherapy. my experience with him was like going shopping with my best friend. He was able to help me pick a wig very close to my own color and similar in hairstyle. This wig not only made me feel like myself again but also lifted my spirit and self-esteem. Andrew demonstrated excellent knowledge, compassion and honesty. I appreciate his generosity and accommodation. He even sent me home with a sample wig until I get delivery of the wig I purchased. when I saw link on ,my merchantcircle I was very impressed. Even though I have a beauty salon. I find that you satisfy a great need. What I liked about your exceptional service is the blow drys of the wigs on the customers head. I will highly recommend you to customer suffering from cancer.

When I learned I would be starting chemo I was told I would lose all my hair. Immediately I purchased what was considered to be a very nice wig but found that when I wore it I didn't feel like myself. I met Andrew and was automatically thrilled with the full service way he approached this new experience of mine. He ordered the wig and promptly called me when it arrived. Andrew put the wig on my head, started cutting away, and I started to cry. I finally looked and felt like myself. I have worn it everyday since and it has made all the difference. Andrew is a wonderfully sensitive, talented person who has made this experience so much more tolerable!!!

From the moment I spoke to Andrew at his shop in New York, terrified that I would be starting chemo in a few days, his spirit was so gentle and he went out of his way to accommodate that I could not travel to the city. I met him the day after my first session to a haircut and to be fitted for a wig. His quite spirit, concerning nature and his desire to make my new short do help me to feel beautiful was the exact medicine I needed. I pick up my new wig on Tuesday and I plan to call her Angel Andy. Thank you, Andrew for everything you helped to heal in me today. God Bless - Laura

Loosing my long and healthy hair was one of the hardest things during my chemo treatment. I had the opportunity to get three wigs, but I couldn't see myself in any of them. A friend of mine told me about Andrew and she personally made an appointment for me to see him. Getting to know Andrew has been a tremendous blessing! He is extremely talented and he is such an inviting person. He made me feel very comfortable and confident the minute I met him. The sweetness and gentleness in his voice would made anyone feel good. Andrew is truly an artist! My wigs look great! They look so natural. People that don't know what I have been through think that it is my own hair. Everyone has been asking me who is the one that did such a great job with my hair ; ) Andrew you are a wonderful person. You have a heart touched by the Lord!

After some difficulty searching in NYC for a flattering, natural appearing wig (due to hair loss from chemo) my prayers were answered today. I received a beautiful wig and wig styling from Andrew DiSimone, a gifted professional with an artist's eye, and a warm, sensitive, knowledgeable and caring spirit. He is very patient, and an excellent communicator and very good listener, explaining to me that by sharing ideas w/each other, we could together achieve a look that I would ultimately be most happy with, and I truly am, as well as so appreciative for this gentle, uplifting experience. I highly recommend Andrew DiSimone's service to any individual going through such a difficult time - I wish I'd known about him earlier. One of the only good things about getting a cancer diagnosis is meeting an individual like Andrew, because not only is he very, very talented, but he's a great person!

I've been going to Face Starion for 4 years and am extremely happy. Andrew is a superb stylist and colorist. I never knew my hair could look this good! He's made some wonderful suggestions about my color and style. He listens to your needs and truly cares. He wants you to be happy with the result. I wish I knew about Face Station and Andrew earlier!
