Looking for Buyer
I have 27 boxes of comic books. Do you purchase and what is the going rate. There are approximately 250 comics per box. My e-mail address is Hall8955@charter.net. I wou;d appreciate it if you would e-mail me back!
A disappointment.
Good selection but poor service. I went to pick up Deadpool vs Carnage today at 11 am, the store hours state it's open from 11am- 6pm yet the door was locked and the parking lot was empty. I waited around for a half hour yet still no one showed up, I'm highly disappoint...ed. I will not be going back for anything, If I need magic cards or any comics i'll simply order off Amazon. The stock is not that good to keep me coming back to a place that is not even open on time.
Huh?
It's hard to understand how this store can survive when the owner has no idea how to run a business. The selection is amazing, but the business sense is non-existent. It is unbelievable to pick out some comics with certain prices on them, take them up to the owner to ...pay and have him look up the books in his 'handy' price guide and increase the prices right in front of you. And then he has the gall to get upset and not understand why you will no longer buy his books. I have been to plenty of comic stores in VT, NH, MA and NY and none of them would dream of treating their customers like that. It boggles my mind to see that he has positive reviews. I wish there were more stores in VT, so I wouldn't have to travel so far for good selections, because I will never go here again.
avoid
owner is rude and extremely overpriced, tries to flip broken junk for full retail price.
Great Store, Great Guy
Collecting cards is something I've essentially become addicted to, I understand the way prices fluctuate over certain items and this guy plays the lowest price to customers. Even though it's a business and the idea behind a business is to make as much money as possible,... he sells at the lowest price possible. Thanks to him I've gotten a whole circle of friends back into collecting cards and playing in circuits.
Terrific Card Store
I live in Virginia and visit Vermont in July and November. I have always had good service and the inventory of this store is remarkable compared to others of it's size I have visited. The reality of cards & comics is that prices do fluctuate on a regular basis. I would love to have this store in my backyard. People should be thankful it's available to them.
