I have been going to Heather for about 6 years now. We started with relaxing massage and then began to slowly dig deeper. It's as if her hands and my muscles remember eachother like old friends. I just slip into true relaxation mode as she works out all the kinks and stressors that every day life bring on. We talk and laugh or we can just be quiet, she takes her cues from the client. I am a nurse and though I constantly wash my hands I am exposed to all sorts of illness. Since I have been seeing Heather I have not, that's right not, had a cold!! I have become a firm believer that working those toxins out of your body is nothing short of the best healthcare I can get. On the personal side, Heather is warm, caring and friendly. I look forward to our chats as much as the massage. You couldn't put yourself in better hands.

I first called Heather at yemaya wellness out of desperation. I had been seeing another massage therapist for several months, when he suddenly told me he could no longer help me. He said that my muscle pain and spasms were so severe that I should consider more radical therapies - including medication. Not wanting to go that route, I decided to try Yemaya. Something in the name and the ad made me feel like it was the right place for me to heal. The first thing I noticed about Heather was that she listened to me. She was willing to work on the issues I wanted to work on, and not give me the standard full body day spa treatment. So we began this journey of healing together, working together and trying different things. ere we are, years later - too many to count - and I have found not only a great therapist, but a friend. I have referred numerous friends and family members to her and they all rave about her work. She helps me heal, inside and out. She is the reason I can move!

From start to finish your experience at Yemaya Wellness with Heather & Heidi is exceptional! They know exactly what your problem areas are and zero in on them. This allows your body to begin the healing process, releasing tension, stress & toxins - one is able to relax in their soothing room - relaxing music, lightly scented candle and aromatic oil. It is truly sheer bliss! My 1 1/2 hr session w/ Heather today left me invigorated and so light - like walking on air. It is a small price to pay for the benefits of body, mind & spirit. My session w/ Heidi was euqlly rewarding. One is transported to a peaceful & serene setting where the ocean, birds, trees & the sweet air are your only scene. I would like to comment that this is a really great place to work. The owner is one of the nicest people you will meet. I believe that this makes all the difference to other therapists, and also to customers, to know that the people who provide your services are happy where they work.

I loved this spa...it was quiet and cozy. Very relaxing...and I enjoyed the massage very much! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
