ZeCobra Submission Grappling/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

I training with Josef for 7 years now and must say that he has to be one of the most inspirational istructors that I have learned from. Apart from his encyclopedic knowlegde of the art He is instructor that is very dedicated to the personal developement of his students. I have seen instructors teach a move or two and leave the dojo and seen instructors use bad language toward a students that did'nt do well at a tournament or at practice. Josef is always encouraging and helpful with all of the students at the Academy Men, Women and Kids alike.

Michelle Ramos Harrison, NJ Wednesday, May 28, 2008 My 6 year old son has been training with Sensei Josef for about 7 months now and I am amazed at how much he has learned. His education extends beyond the Jiu-Jitsu training. Not only does my son learn self defense but he learns about conditioning and respect for himself and for others. Sensei is a great teacher. I plan on signing my daughter up as well when she is old enough.

Elliot Garcia Newark NJ 07104 Friday, May 02, 2008 I have trained at a few academies and this has to be one of the best looking places that I've been to. Free Parking, Very clean facility and awesome customer service. The training is incredible. Josef embodies the essence of Jiu-jitsu. I'm a 220 lbs man and at 139 lbs he is able to take me down, control me and submit me at will. He brings light to positions that I wasn’t able to grasp training with other instructors because he is very active competitor and alot of other instructors don't put their reputation and skills to the test by stepping in the ring.
