In Fargo, ND, Damian McAllister was not going to let CamFo Creme go extinct without a fight. His family had used if for three generations and found The Falk Company, who made the Creme, was trying to sell it, or just let it go out of business. Damian decided to buy the company and save it.
"When I bought it in December 2004, The Falk Company had 60 customers nationwide and no web presence," says Damian. "I put my company on MerchantCircle and now we have 300 customers!"
CamFo Creme was invented during World War 1 to help troops with flash burn, which came from rifle shells following the discharge of a weapon. With very little marketing in the 20's and 30's, CamFo Creme gained a loyal following. Damian's grandmother used it to treat dry chapped skin, sunburn, psoriasis, and bug bites, among others.
