It depends on how long you owned the property before selling it. Also if you lived in the house for 3 of the last 5 years than you can exclude $250,000 of your capital gains. To figure your capital gains take the selling price minus the cost of the home plus any improvements you made. The Difference is your capital gains.

OOPS..poor mechanics...
I kept hearing a "clunk" in the front end of my car when I went over speed bumps...so I took in the car to get checked out. The guy said it needed new shocks. I took it to a friend because I just couldn't afford the shocks. He looked at the car and found the battery and become loose. He tightened down the battery and the noise stopped. He looked at my shocks and they were fine. Not very impressed!... more

Went in, tables dirty and after cleaning, sticky. rice stone cold meat dish (couldnt recognize what it was) had a hair in it. Waiter no speak english too good, did nothing about it, even had the arrogance to suggest I pay for it!. felt sick all afternoon, followed by brown rain!!!! Never again will they get my money!... more

Baltazar's Tire Shop
VERY DISATIFIED
On OCT.28th I went in to Baltzaar's tire shop and purchased Stud Tires for my Ford Truck .@ $550.00 I requested additional studs to be added to these tires @ an additional $150.00 dollars.I did not realize before I left I did not get the additional studs they just moved the studs around on the tire. I went back today Nov 19 to get it corrected and additional studs added. The gentleman was very hostile and needless to say I did not get the extra studs nor my money back $150.00. Not sure if it was a communication issue. or what! BEWARE!... more

Ruined Wiring
They put in an auto start for me and ended up damaging some wiring. It took me over $900 at the dealership to figure it out. My car was dying at random times and the faulty auto-start was draining my battery randomly. Evidently they aren't that good at putting in auto-starts!... more
