Golden Rule BBQ
servers arguing with each while waiting on customers
the last three times my family and I went to the goldenrule in Calera Ala the servers were arguing with each other they were acting like they were the only ones who were doing anywork. We saw one customer get up to get her own coffee refill.To customers were seated for a while then got up to move to another table in hopes of getting service.We were seated near the bev erage station and the servers were slingging dishes and glasses in a tub and kept dropping them it got quite noisy. It was not the most pleasant dinning we experienced.Maybe someone needs to show them how to work together and if they have problems with each other they need to address them in private and maybe with their boss present because what we saw today was not professional.short... more

New Calera branch. High Fees: $20/mo. for account inactivity (-1 Star) Lack of Cashier Knowledgeability: I asked the cashier if I could deposit Savings Bonds into my account. I was told yes. I then stepped out of line and endorsed them only to come back to be told by the same cashier that "we don't take those." What they do take is Treasury Checks. If you're working at a bank, you should probably know the difference between a check and a bond. (-.5) Uncooperative Staff: I can direct deposit my bonds, but I need a one page form stamped by the bank. All it does is say that the bank agrees that I am who I say I am. Pretty straightforward, right? I'm a reasonable guy--if you've never seen a particular form before, I'll cut you some slack. But when you claim to "not actually be a corporate credit union" or lack stamps or seals of any kind, I have to wonder if I stepped into Pizza Hut by mistake.(-1) I wouldn't trust them with anything more complex than basic checking.
