Calico Rock is a part of the northern region of Arkansas known for its rural setting and the fact that it is the only living town in the US to have surrounded and preserved a ghost town. The Homecoming Days festival is held here in Calico Rock every spring, followed by Bootlegger Days in the summer and Autumn Fest in the fall. Major attractions here include the aforementioned Calico Rock Ghost Town and the Calico Rock Trout Dock. Other companies in Calico Rock include Game Stash and Cedars Bed & Breakfast & Cabins. The biggest schools here are part of the Mountain View School District. One of the best places to visit when you are in Calico Rock is Don Quixote's Fine Dining.
