We are answering this questions under the assumption you are speaking about an oil fuel filter.

Oil fuel filters that prematurely get fouled are always caused by 2 factors.......either a dirty/failing oil tank or dirty oil supply from your oil vendor/delivery service.....AND IT is usually always the oil tank.

It is a concern in regards to the environment and not so much your oil furnace, AS THE OIL FILTER IS GOIND TO CATCH THE DEBRIS/SLUDGE. IN the event your tank begins to leak it is clearly bad for the water table and has other environmental impacts. The water table should be enough to convince you though...especially if your family uses well water. You don't want oil getting into your drinking water....EVEN A TINY, LITTLE, SMALL AMOUNT.

By the way....it is perfectly normal that the oil/fuel filter get fouled over a period of 1 year. If you are surpassing 1 year before changing the filter than you have no concern. Thats a broad question... What type of pain are you having? Ibuprofen is a anti-inflamatory & can work on toothaches, muscle, aches, sprains, etc...... If you have any type of liver problems don't take any type of Aspirin., Aspirin works great as a blood thinner as well....... Acetaminophen is used for various aches & pains..... Hope this helps
