The circumstances that Andrew experienced are unfortunate but not the fault of Voyager Marine. He bought a motor on the internet so when he received it ; the motor had not been prepped or checked out for proper performance. It was brought to Voyager where the fuel was drained from the carburetor and found to be contaminated. Nissan was contacted and the fuel system was cleaned and motor tank tested then returned to customer. Customer returned the following day with the same problem; Nissan was contacted again; this time they advised the fuel hose was defective contaminating the fuel. The fuel system was again cleaned and the hose replaced with a new type and the motor retested. When Andrew came to pick the motor up he asked to see it run. It was put in a test tank was run for him on the shop tank of gas; when trying to run on his tank of gas it would not run properly; again it was run on the shop tank with good results. He could not accept that his gas was bad and became upset.... more
