I have Prolift Garage Door Opener GDO-7--/ The emergency pull will not RE-Engage with a simple additional pull. What can I do?

Pull on the Red Cord to op[erate the door manually. Pull again aned it should connect. All I get is chain movement but thje trolley is not grabbing or connected.

Step one. Make sure it's not "locked" in the open position when you are pulling. You may have to pull down and back towards the opener to get to to "snap" and release. Do this OFF of the trolley. Then slide the door to the trolley and it should snap closed on the trolly. If it still does not work, you may need to replace the trolly. Call your local garage door repair company (in Denton, Tx, that would be us!).
