About Frazier Park
Frazier Park, named for the nearby Frazier Mountain, is located in Kern County, California, in the Bakersfield metro area. A major attraction is Mt. Pinos, the highest mountain in the area and a place for cross-country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, back-country snowboarding, star-gazing and other recreation. Each year in August, the Center of the World Festival is held here. One of the best places to visit when you are in Frazier Park is approximately 1.75 million-acre Los Padres National Forest, where visitors will find a wide range of recreational opportunities and interpretive and educational activities and programs.

Barbara Boxer has indicated that she will not cut social security. Whether she is elected or not, our country needs a bi-partisan solution to social security. There are basic demographic problems with social security. There are literally only a few workers now paying for an individual retiree. When social security was first enacted about forty workers paid for one retiree. That's the problem. Social security is a pay as you go arrangement. There just aren't enough workers paying in.
