What are some good training tips for new employees?

What are some good tips for training new employees so that they may fully grasp the concept of the company's business goals?

HeyGoTo Marketing & Social Media image Answered by HeyGoTo Marketing & Social Media

I am going to keep this very brief and to the point:
1. Make sure you have all their responsibilities written down and outlined. Most businesses teach as they go and a lot of the time new people are trained wrong and also taught bad habits.
2. Have a system in place to track what they do. Something like a CRM and/or project management system!
3. Have a list of things not to do or things to be aware of. The best way to train someone new is to be ahead of the curve. If you come across as you know what your doing it will earn their respect early.
4. Make time either day or weekly to spend with them to go over their work they have done. If you invest time in them they will see that you genuinely care about them and your business!
5. Make sure you don't cross the line of being friendly and not friends. I know you might think what does this have to do with training a new person but what it is doing is setting the tone for how the relationship should and will run.
6. Control expectations out of the gate with them. Don't exaggerate about things and tell them stuff that is not exactly true. Once they see your ways they will look at you differently and work for you with less effort.
7. Make training videos for them of how to do things if its computer related. For example how to fill out a document properly or how to use the CRM correctly. The more on top of things you look the better they will be. They want to work for someone that has their act together!
8. Take the time to ask them how they would handle certain things to see into their mind set. This is a great way to find out about them but also to get them on the same page as you!
These are 8 critical tips when training someone new. I hope you find this to be of value!

What should one look in a camcorder?

What should one look for in a camcorder other than format?

HeyGoTo Marketing & Social Media image Answered by HeyGoTo Marketing & Social Media
1. I think you definitely need to find a HD 1080i that is durable. 2. Something that can be used without hassle and tons of set up.
3. Check to see if it has an external mic jack. This is important and often over looked.
4. Check to see that it is an easy digital format to work with.
I prefer the Kodak Zi8 because its has amazing quality and its cheap! I added a link to where I found it for cheap to save you some time. Amazon is where I bought mine but the link I found seems to be a bit cheaper! Good luck and enjoy! www.titanicimports.com
