Gary Kessler, Esq. of Adams Kessler PLC is the author of the Condo-Court.com blog. On the blog Gary writes about appellate court decisions regarding homeowners associations. Gary is active in the State Bar of California’s Common Interest Development subsection, and served a member of the State Bar’s working group on the California Law Revision Commission’s Tentative Recommendation for simplification of the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act. Gary was named to CAI’s Amicus Committee, which reviews important appellate cases relating to homeowners associations across the United States. He currently serves on CAI-GLAC’s Legislative Action Committee, which monitors proposed legislation in Sacramento affecting common interest developments. Annual Retainer Agreements

Adams Kessler offers an annual retainer program for clients that find themselves in constant contact with their legal counsel and want to keep their legal costs to a minimum. For a yearly flat fee the Board or Manager would be entitled to: (i) unlimited brief telephone calls (up to six minutes per call) that do not require research or the review of documents, (ii) a written response to the Association’s annual audit letter request, (iii) annual two-hour new Board orientations, (iv) annual director’s handbook (v) annual written updates on new laws affecting homeowner associations, (vi) and, a reduction in the attorney's standard hourly rates.
