A Couple Of Painters image Answered by A Couple Of Painters

An electric sander works great in the hands of an experienced user and is less work, but it can make a bigger mess (wider distribution of dust) and in inexperienced hands it can result in swirl marks or grooves.

How are builders and bricklayers different?

What is the difference between a builder and bricklayer? Which one of these is likely to require great knowledge in more that one area? Thanks!

The KIP Company image Answered by The KIP Company

A builder is usually called a general contractor in my experience, whereas a bricklayer is not. Thus, a builder generally has to know about electrical codes, plumbing codes, plus all the building codes for bricklayers as well as framing carpenters (aka structural codes) etc. YMMV. but I would not go to a bricklayer for a quote for electrical upgrades or plumbing upgrades. IME, a bricklayer is a subcontractor, while a builder is a general contractor.

Merchant Ratings Stumps Village Market

What do you want to know?

Wow, I was in the Village Market on Wednesday and they were actually removing moldy walls from the kitchen and preparing sandwiched at the same time. I decided to go elsewhere to eat. I honestly can't believe that the Village Market put their profit above my health. I hope they County inspects this place real soon. Until I am assured that the problem is rectified, I may choose elsewhere to shop and eat.... more
