About Soledad

Soledad, which is Spanish and translates to mean solitude and loneliness, is a city located in Monterey County, California. The city is one of the premiere wine grape growing regions in the state. While the city's second main industry, after vineyards and wineries, is farming, there are a few large companies located here including a Dole Food Company plant and the Soledad Energy Partnership. Students here attend the Soledad Unified School District which consists of five elementary schools, a middle school and a high school as well as an adult education center, alternative school and the Mission Trails Regional Occupation Program. Some of the attractions in Soledad include Soledad Swimming Pool, Front Street Park, The Pinnacles Wine Festival, and the Salinas River. The city is also home to three correctional institutes: Soledad CTF, Gabilan Fire Camp and Salinas Valley State Correctional Facility. Many of the city's residents are employed through these places.

The criteria are love, blood or money. The first & third apply to your question. If you live with your boyfriend and he makes all the money, you could buy life insurance on him to replace his income should he die. If you are business partners you could buy life insurance on each other to buy out their half of the business ( a buy-sell agreement is important!). It is generally always the case, however, that you must have the signed consent of the insured.
