Pinewood Springs Water District
outrageous!!
This utility does a poor job of providing clean drinking water. When they found their new reservoir was contaminated with algae and they got reports of people in the community becoming ill, they refused to tell the community about the problem. Their water operator was found to be taking water samples from his own home and addresses where he alleged to be taking them in addition, for the most part, do not even exist. The health dept did investigate and find the water supply contaminated. They required clean-up or they were going to shut it down. When a pipe going through my utility easement broke the water operator was damaging my shrubs while digging. I told him to be careful for them. He immediately became verbally abusive, hurling obscenities at me, and then made a veiled threat to do bodily harm to me. This was reported to the water district which has done nothing. They are irresponsible and disrespectful. If you don't have to do business with this utility, don't!... more

Disappointing
What a shock to have to redo the sewer work I had this company do 3 1/2 years ago. PVC pipe doesn't wear out and it's generally not defective! Get more than 1 estimate and GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Don't believe anything you hear--get it written down--like who pays if the work doesn't hold up... more

The work was bid and the project complete the day they said they would come and the precision that they demonstrated proved to me that we had selected the correct company for the job.
