Hungover guide, poor experience
Minturn Anglers came highly recommended from our hotel, but Michael, our guide, showed up hungover and spent the morning focused on his recovery. My wife came off her horse and he didn't even stop to help. Lunch was poor, warm gatorade and ham sandwhiches for $700/day. He didn't even bring spare rods, so my wife spent the afternoon reading rather than fishing. I called the next day to ask for a partial refund, the employee was arguementative and said the owner would call back to discuss the matter. No call, and the owner is now diluting my review on Google with false reviews.... more

Great Food and Drinks at the Minturn Saloon. The Minturn Saloon is a favorite for guests. This is where the locals hang out too. Minturn Saloon, the popular Vail Valley restaurant, has recently installed solar panels to become the first eatery in Eagle County to be solar powered. The century old building, which came into existence in 1901, got a new solar power system that will bring down the restaurant’s electric bills by at least 25 percent.... more
