In the sumer of 2011, my car required a radiator and thermostat to be replaced. I had a tight timeline of 3 days to have the work completed. AST took advantage of me by forcing me to pick up my own parts from Glenwood. Upon delivering my car back to me, the owner claimed that all work was completed. The car broke down again 1 hour after picking it up. Upon taking to a trusted mechanic in Denver, I was informed that the thostat was never replaced and the work was incomplete. Further, I was chagred a 40% margin on parts. AST takes advantage of their client s and should not be trusted.... more

The General Store
Such helpful staff
I live in Eagle, but babysit in Vail for tourists. I called the Lionshead General Store just minutes before they were closing to inquire about treatment for altitude sickness & they had oxygen & other remedies. Despite needing to close, the manager offered to stay open until I could walk over to the store. WOW! Plus it was snowing, & I am sure they wanted to get home, yet they stayed open to help a tourist. WOW! Customer service there is 1st rate (plus they have such fun items!)... more
