About Barkhamsted

Barkhamsted is a part of the Litchfield County area of Connecticut and is composed of six villages. those six villages are West Hill, Mallory, Riverton, Pleasant Valley, Center Hill, and Washington Hill. Major attractions include the Saville Dam in the Barkhamsted Reservoir and the People's State Forest which houses the Stone Museum. Among the biggest companies in Barkhamsted are Barkhamsted Elementary School and the Log House Restaurant. The biggest schools here are Barkhamsted Elementary School and Shared Services Integrated Preschool. One of the best places to visit when you are in Barkhamsted with the kids is Kidz World.
