About Meriden
Meriden is located in New Haven County, Connecticut. It has been nicknamed "Silver City" because of the cutlery and others related products that are made there. The population of Meriden is around 60,000 people and it covers just over 24 square miles. Major attraction sin Meriden include the Old Traffic Tower and the Hunter Golf Course. Meriden is also where the Robert De Niro movie "Jacknife" was filmed. Among the biggest schools here are the Horace C. Wilcox Technical School and St. Joseph's School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Meriden is the Meriden Square Mall. Famous people with ties to the city include Tobey Driver and Gary Burr, both song writers.
