A childcare home is someone who has set up a part or all of their home to care for children in a daycare setting. A center is one where it is set up in a commercial building with accommodations made for the children, like a kitchen, playground, etc. A childcare home has limitation put on them as to how many children can be accepted. A center can have as many as they are able to accommodate depending on their size, and employees. The home environment might be a better environment for some children that cower in large groups. There is a more one-on-one interaction than with a large group as there are in daycare centers.
