About Casselberry

The City of Casselberry is part of the Orlando metropolitan area of Central Florida and is in the process of major re-development. There are many interesting projects that are in development and there is even talk of creating a sports complex. Casselberry is well known for its community leaders and involvement as well as its art house, the International Jazz Festival, which is sponsored by the local Rotary Club, and other interesting arts events. Some of the community leaders include: Alan Trueba, owner of American Family Funerals & Cremations and John Edward Jones, the longest practicing attorney in Seminole County, who specializes in personal injury and wrongful death cases. These two gentle men lead the way in helping raise the standards in Seminole County. They have a habit of putting the right people together to create very successful outcomes. There are some great resources at the recreational center which include; pre-ballet classes for new dancers and martial arts classes for $35.00 a month. These are gem programs that can only be found only at the Casselberry Recreational Center. Some other important businesses are the Business Group Inc and Florida Natural Flavors Inc., Michael Kay Chiropractic and Bits, Bytes and Megabytes. The biggest schools here are Casselberry Elementary School and the Sterling Park Elementary School. Lyman High is nearby and it is quickly gaining recognition as one of the top schools in the county. This is a city with very motivated and progressive individuals who are trying to take Casselberry to a new level as a city. You will be seeing more great things coming from Casselberry in the future.
