Recent Questions About Mims, FL

do you import medicine

Summerdale Enterprises, Inc. image Answered by Summerdale Enterprises, Inc.

As a rule, imported medicine is not a good idea. Imported drugs are usually drugs exported from the United States to another country. So, basically you're getting the same drugs you could have gotten in the U.S., and under FDA regulations. Imported drugs, which is different from drugs from another country, say, India, that are inspected by the FDA and approved for use in America, may not be shipped according to FDA standards. So they could arrive in our country not in the best condition (exposed to heat, cold, dampness - they could even be expired and re-packaged!).

If your life - or a customer's life - depended on the quality of the medication received, I wouldn't play Russian Roulette with non-FDA-inspected imported drugs.

Do yourself a favor...

Terrible mechanic on duty. Coolant leaking upon pickup. Oil leak upon pickup. I made a mistake by coming here. I let them repair a blown head gasket and they did not even adjust the valves before I picked it up. They told me that they were not adjustable which was a damn lie. They tried to make it right, but failed. They took it to speedy muffler...When I got out of work my truck was at Speedy Muffler in Titusville without my consent. I was livid. Nightmare service. Do yourself a favor...... more

Merchant Ratings Barn Light Electric Company

Beware of Ordering from Barn Light Electric

My wife and I ordered some lights from Barn Light last year. The confirmation email said they would ship within 7 to 14 business days. Barn Light charged our credit card immediately (as opposed to charging the card when the items ship). 20 business days passed and we had not received a shipping notice. So we decided to cancel (the lights were for a renovation project). We sent a cancellation request through the website. Literally, within minutes of sending the cancellation, we received a shipping notice. Our cancellation request was sent at 1/10/11 at 11:19. (we have a confirmation email from the company). The shipping notice said the shipping date was 1/10/11 at 11:21. Because the items had been shipped, we now would have to pay return shipping to get a refund. I called the GM and explained what had happened. He promised that he would call me back. He never returned my call. I even called again and left another message. He still did not return my call.... more

Standard Outboard Annual Service

Changing the water pump impeller We change the impeller because it is set into the pump housing off center, and when the engine is not running the impeller will eventually take shape of the housing, and will not pump properly, and then there may be a potential to overheat the engine. Drain, Inspect, and Fill the Gear Case with new Gear lube When we drain the gear lube we can get an idea of what is going on inside the gear case. We can see if there is water entering the case from a seal, we can see if there are metal shavings in the oil, indicating a mechanical problem inside. Then we refill the gear case with a high performance gear lube. Grease the Drive Shaft Splines and the Propeller Shaft Spines When we remove the gear case we will grease the splines that go into the crankshaft, it will prevent corrosion, and make it easier to remove on the next service or repair. We also grease the Propeller Shaft splines to prevent the propeller from being corroded onto the shaft, and ensure that it can be easily removed at a later service or repair. The use of an Engine Cleaning Agent We use and engine cleaning agent to help keep engine deposits inside the engine; intake, cylinder, ports, and valves to a minimum, and it will help the performance of the engine. Changing the Spark Plugs We can see how the engine is running with how the spark plugs look. There will also be deposits that cling to the spark plug, which will reduce the effectiveness of the plug, so replacing and gapping it to manufacturer’s specifications will ensure a proper running engine. Changing the Engine Oil and Filter (Four Stroke Models Only) The engines oil is the most important lubricant in the boat; it’s what keeps everything running smoothly. It also cleans the engine, internally. So regular oil and filter changes will extend the life of your engine.
