The easiest way that will not cost too much money is to start sending it out to potential agents. All the big agents are listed on the internet you can just Google agents or New York agents, or LA agents whatever. Start sending it out to as many as possible. Include your email and contact info of course. If it is good material then they will contact you back within a short amount of time and they will ask you to sign an exclusive agreement asking you to give them the rights to your material for a short period to get it to the publishers they work with. If this period passes and nothing happens you are welcome to move on to other agents and possibilities. Do not give up just because one agent can not get it done. Exhaust the list of agents first. Then if nothing you may want to consider hiring a writing coach and seeing if anything more can be done to the material you have or if it is time to start from scratch with a new story. While you are working on this and waiting do not stop writing. Keep improving and getting to all the local workshops you can afford to attend. Maybe you can find some free local classes or workshops. Here you will meet people in the community who can help and who may have answers for you or at least a shoulder to cry on. This industry is a hard one to crack into and some people never try and sit on a good story because they heard how hard it truely is. If you believe in yourself never give up and you will succeed!
