Check with your local parks and recreation department. There are very few playgrounds with adaptations, but if there was an interest, the city or county might be moved to add a few items. It often only involves making the playground area easier to access. The locals would need to know if you're talking about getting a wheelchair on the playground (in which case a playground with sand or wood chips is difficult) or you're looking for a place with adaptation for other disabilities.

There are only a few in my area of Los Angeles, but it has been nice to have all kids play together on the same playground. Often, the kids take over for the parents and get the kids who use wheelchairs all over the place.
