Salem is small town located in Taylor County, Florida, at the base of the Florida Panhandle. Major attractions include St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge was established in 1931 as a winter home to many migratory birds. The Refuge is also home to St. Marks Lighthouse, Florida's second oldest lighthouse.
