Joint accounts only require one signature unless the account was set up to require two. Check to see how the account was first opened.

Dirty Cups and Nasty Food
In May of 2011, I decided to try the outback steakhouse because I'd never been to one and my impressions from what I'd seen and heard seemed like it was a reputable establishment. I went there to celebrate an anniversary. I was given a table to the far right and I was waited on by a young man. He gave me the menu etc. I received my coffee in a dirty cup so I mentioned it to the waiter and he brought me another one. So far, so bad. I ordered the rack of lamb and for dessert a cake. While I waited, I noticed the manager, with an apron, kneeling on the rug (like a myrmidon) at the table where two cops were eating while normal uniform, sucking up to them. After about 15-20 minutes, the rack of lamb arrived and it was the nastiest rack I had ever seen. It wasn't the one you see in the cartoons when Fred Flintstone receives a rack of giant ribs and it's thrown atop his stone age car... more
