Worthington Springs is located in Union County, Florida, which was carved out of Bradford County in 1921, and is the smallest county is the state. Named after Sam Worthington who settled there in the early 1800's, the town was famous for its medicinal waters and swimming and picnic facilities from the late 1800s to early 1900s, although the town is now completely dry.
